[leafnode-list] Malformed Message-ID?

I see in my syslog this (suse.opensuse.devel is a local only
newsgroup filled by my mail2news script):

Feb 28 16:48:45 stitny.cepl.eu leafnode[3017]: LOCAL POST <167759915880.18740.10958568344351428460 at mailman3.infra.opensuse.org> suse.opensuse.devel
Feb 28 16:48:45 stitny.cepl.eu leafnode[3018]: found 1 article in in.coming.
Feb 28 16:48:45 stitny.cepl.eu leafnode[3018]: store: Message-ID header missing or malformatted
Feb 28 16:48:45 stitny.cepl.eu leafnode[3018]: Could not store /var/spool/news/in.coming/3017-1677599325-1: "malformatted", moving to /var/spool/news/failed.postings/

And in the (attached) email message I see

Message-Id:
 <167759915880.18740.10958568344351428460 at mailman3.infra.opensuse.org>

This looks to me like a perfectly correct email header split over
two lines. That should be correct, shouldn't it?
