Because I hadn't bothered to implement it.

If your system provides the getifaddrs() interface (Linux or *BSD), please  
try leafnode 1.11.8-pre1 from <http://home.pages.de/~mandree/leafnode/>  
which is supposed to fix this (and also defaults to enabling IPv6 now).

I know this doesn't currently work on Solaris 10, and I don't care much  
given that there isn't a single portable interface to retrieve all  
IPv4/IPv6 interfaces and netmasks.

Please test and let me know if it works for you.
