Click on the down arrow at the right end of the menu bar, and you can
download a Zip.  But it won't be your standard tarball.  That would be
up to Matthias to provide, and he won't do that until Version 2 is
ready to be released.  I have tried compiling the repo, and it does
work.

The command I mentioned, autoreconf, seems to be the wrong one.  Browse
through the list archives.  I am sure that it is set out somewhere
there.  Repositories like this do need a preliminary command to create
the ./configure, etc. files.  After that, you have a tarball.  I avoid
doing it as much as possible.
