[leafnode-list] Multiple servers, can't see groups on the second server

I have the following 'server' lines in /etc/news/leafnode/config:-

    server = news.eternal-september.org
    username = chrisisbd
    password = xxxxxxxxx

    server = news.annexcafe.com
    only_groups_pcre = annexcafe\.
    username = neerg
    password = xxxxxxxxx


My newsreader isn't allowing me to subscribe/read groups on
news.annexcafe.com, all the group names there start with 'annexcafe.'
so I think my PCRE is correct.

What am I missing, or have I misunderstood something?
