No.

Hm.

$ ./configure --help|grep lua
  --enable-lua            enable Lua scripting hooks (disabled)

But for the heck of it I just tried --disable-lua with the same
negative result.

No rush. 20081229a does an extremely solid job -- albeit without
lua ;-)
