Note that the first address is using http://, not git://, and it is
served from a different server.

I have issues with BerliOS though, their SSL use is substandard (I have
yet to find their CA root certificates, and there are other issues -
depending on how, when, which, what, Firefox 3 is unusable on their site
due to its strict cert verification -- which is good), and their support
is, well, slow, to put it mildly.

So I may indeed consider using a hosting service.

I have repacked the http:// server's repository aggressively, so that
currently there's just one pack, and now cloning takes < 10 s for me.
