[leafnode-list] automatically x-post to local group?

is there a way to automatically cross-post to a local group?  my
newsreader is void of this ability, and i sometimes forget to save my
articles once they appear on some group.

so, like in this article, i make the Newsgroups: header read:
"Newsgroups: gmane.network.leafnode,local.archive", in the hope the
article is saved to my local group "local.archive".  but this doesn't
work.  i think it should.
