bindir: /usr/local/bin
sysconfdir: /etc/leafnode

IPv6: yes
default MTA: /usr/sbin/sendmail
pcre version: 6.2 01-Aug-2005

i have a group gmane.comp.hardware.arm.lpc2100 subscribed. its entry in
leafnode/config is:

  groupexpire = gmane.comp.hardware.arm.lpc2100 24800

later comes an entry: "groupexpire = gmane.* 33", which i thought was
the correct order: specific first, general/default last. now the
"texpire -vvv" run showed:

  gmane.comp.hardware.arm.lpc2100: 2872 articles deleted, 1237 kept

this shouldn't have happened, i think. does the later default entry
override the more specific entry? i verified that about 1240 articles
are left in the spool directory after fetchnews.

and why doesn't the suffix ", interesting" appear although i read the
group every other day?

(i changed to "groupexpire = gmane.comp.hardware.arm.lpc2100 -1" a
few minutes ago, but haven't yet tried it).

regards, clemens
