Perhaps. Perhaps it's deriving the MID from your mail address instead,
like many mailers also do (rather than leaving the ID up to the mail
or news server they are injecting to).

That Message-ID was likely generated by Pan, and leafnode doesn't change
existing IDs to avoid dupes (duplicated identical news articles
differing only by their Path and Message-ID).

Please try consulting the Pan support offerings for help - you can't do
anything to solve the problem from leafnode's end.
