Okay, I think I figured it out.  I put the following line under my Giganews
server setting:

only_groups_pcre = (?!gmane\.)

Is that correct?  It seems to be working.

I have a few different news servers that I have Leafnode connecting to.  My
main server is Giganews.  One of my secondary servers is news.gmane.org.  I
guess there are a couple of gmane.* newsgroups on the Giganews server.  Is
it possible for me to exclude the gmane.* groups from getting fetched or
posted to the Giganews server?  I only want those groups to be accessed from
the news.gmane.org server.

I am running the latest 2.0 alpha version.
