20050810a: Changes since 20050514a:
+ Bugfix: if getting the group returns "skip to next server", don't
  write a bogus article mark of 2^32-2 or 2^64-2 into the server's
  article mark file. Observed by Dietrich Schaffer.
+ Bugfix: fetchnews now presents an error message to the user if the
  greeting banner code isn't 200 or 201. Reported by Werner Partner.
