[leafnode-list] Upgrade to 1.11.3.rel-2 (Debian pkg) has brought back processes that don't stop.

I've just looked at the Debian package information more closely and 
noticed that 1.11.3.rel-2 came out on 16 June, so I had been using it 
for a while before the problem recurred (yesterday).  So it must be my 
fault or my ISP's.
