[leafnode-list] applyfilter crashes in leafnode 2?

I was trying applyfilter following suggestions in alt.os.linux.mandrake
and it appears to consistently crash on me

Looks a very strange line number in mycritstrdup, I assume memory is being
trashed somewhere? I've tried it on a variey of groups, removed the filter
I added and it always crashes
