I have uploaded an RPM tarball for Linux on the common IA32
architecture, for i486 compatible processors including those from AMD
(The K*, Duron, Athlon, Opteron series), Cyrix, IBM, Intel (including
all Pentium, Celeron and Xeon variants), VIA.

The RPM requires an installed pcre or libpcre package and GNU libc
(glibc) version 2.2 or newer.

The RPM was compiled on SuSE Linux 8.2 and is supposed to match the
layout of the original SuSE RPMs, it may or may not require
configuration changes or not work at all on other distributions.

Feedback is solicited, particularly from users who don't dare compile
from source.

The RPM is signed, use "rpm -K" to check the signature.
