[leafnode-list] problems following getting newgroup list

That's not the current alpha version ;-)

In how far is it "partial"? Was there a write error on the groupinfo
file? Is your /var space exhausted? (use df to check, although this
condition may have cleared now after a texpire run or log rotations)
