I also wanted to say thanks for your efforts on leafnode!

I happily used 2.0b8_ma9 for almost two years on an old PI running
approximately Red Hat 7.2.  My only complaint was that if fetchnews
was already running, each new instance would leave an extra lock
file hanging around.  This wasn't a big deal, as I'd just
periodically go in and delete them.

Over the Christmas/New Years holiday I installed Slackware 9.1 on a
PIII, to replace the old server.  Last night I installed leafnode
2.0.0.alpha20031221a, and it's been running beautifully ever since.
Installation was straightforward (well, I had to do it twice, but
that was my own fault for not looking for the compile option for
specifying the spool directory). It installed fine with the slack
9.1 default pcre (v4.4).

Again, thank you very much--I really appreciate having leafnode
available!
